Cupping

Made famous by Michael Phelps during the 2016 Olympics Games in Rio De Janeiro, Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy designed to improve local circulation and reduce inflammation. The technique involves placing heated glass cups on the skin surface to increase blood flow and release the connective tissue beneath the skin. Cupping is often recommended for muscle pain, general soreness, or upper respiratory tract infections. It is also used to clear excess mucus, treat the common cold, and relieve flu-like symptoms.
